Qualifications & Expertise Required
To become a reviewer for IJOEAR, applicants must meet the following criteria:

| Educational Qualification | PhD or equivalent doctoral degree in Agriculture, Environmental Science, or related discipline |
| Research Experience | Minimum 3 years of post-PhD research experience or at least 5 peer-reviewed publications |
| Publication Record | At least 3 published articles in reputable peer-reviewed journals |
| Subject Expertise | Demonstrated expertise in one or more areas within IJOEAR's scope |
| Language Proficiency | Excellent written English communication skills |
| ORCID iD | Active ORCID iD (recommended, not mandatory) |
Preferred Qualifications
Previous peer review experience (for any journal), postdoctoral research experience, and active research engagement are highly desirable. Early-career researchers with strong publication records are also encouraged to apply.
Reviewer Responsibilities
Accepted reviewers commit to the following responsibilities:
Timely Reviews
Complete reviews within the agreed timeframe (typically 2-3 weeks). Notify the editorial office immediately if unable to meet deadlines.
Confidentiality
Maintain strict confidentiality of manuscripts and review communications. Do not share or discuss manuscripts with anyone.
Objectivity
Provide unbiased, constructive, and respectful feedback. Avoid personal criticism of authors.
Conflict Disclosure
Declare any potential conflicts of interest immediately. Recuse yourself if unable to provide an unbiased review.

What We Look For in a Review
- Originality and significance of the research
- Methodological soundness and validity
- Clarity and quality of presentation
- Ethical compliance (plagiarism, data integrity, etc.)
- Constructive suggestions for improvement
- Recommendation: Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, or Reject
Reviewer Ethics
IJOEAR expects all reviewers to adhere to the following ethical principles:

Violations
Ethical violations may result in removal from the reviewer panel, notification to affiliated institutions, and reporting to Publons/ORCID.
