The peer review process is an integral component of scholarly publishing, ensuring the credibility, quality, and relevance of research contributions. At the International Journal of Environmental and Agriculture Research (IJOEAR), a double-blind peer review system is followed to uphold these standards. This process keeps both the author(s) and reviewer(s) anonymous, promoting impartial evaluations and eliminating potential biases.
Peer review not only validates research but also fosters constructive feedback and strengthens collaborations within the scientific community. Despite its challenges, this rigorous evaluation process remains the cornerstone for maintaining the integrity of academic publishing.
To ensure the publication of high-quality articles, IJOEAR adopts the following procedures:
Both author(s) and reviewer(s) identities are concealed throughout the review process to ensure objectivity and fairness.
The review process typically takes 1 to 3 weeks from the date of submission. Authors are advised not to submit the same manuscript to multiple journals and to await feedback from IJOEAR.
Each article is evaluated by 3-4 reviewers, including one expert from India and others from international locations, as recommended by the editorial board.
All manuscripts are treated as confidential documents, and reviewers are instructed to maintain strict confidentiality regarding the content.
Manuscripts are thoroughly screened using plagiarism detection software. Articles found to contain significant plagiarism are immediately rejected.
The Editors-in-Chief make all publication decisions based on the reviewers' reports. If additional reviews are necessary, editors may seek further evaluations.
Authors of rejected manuscripts are promptly informed, and clear feedback is provided when possible.
Manuscripts suspected of plagiarism, even post-publication, will undergo thorough investigation by the Editor-in-Chief and a designated committee. Consequences include notifying the author’s institution, retracting the article, and other corrective actions.
IJOEAR does not guarantee publication of any article without undergoing the standard double-blind peer review process. Authors should be cautious of any individuals or organizations falsely promising publication bypassing this review process. Any such claims are fraudulent and may lead to legal actions by the journal.
IJOEAR remains committed to prompt evaluation, transparency, and ethical publishing practices. This policy ensures that all contributions meet the highest standards of research and scholarly excellence.
